If you've been keeping up with my blog you may already have a good idea of who I am.  I'm a mother, a wife, a music lover, a movie goer, and an outdoorsy sort.  I also like to think I'm a kind, sympathetic, generally happy, sometimes anxious, always friendly person.

I went to Queen's University and got my undergraduate B.Sc. in Biology.  I love learning, but I'm not so keen on the grading and testing part - so I didn't narrow my focus and continue to some specific biology field.  As a result I never left the job I got while I was still at school.  It turned out alright now, as on-the-job training has allowed me advancement anyway.  I'm now a Pharmacy Assistant at an independent pharmacy in downtown Kingston, Ontario.  I love it there, but I am also always on the lookout for a better paying, less hours actually working job so I can be home more with the girls.

Hubby and I try to have "date nights" fairly often, and it's easier now that the kids like having a babysitter over.  When they were younger it always fell to Mom to put them to bed, now they are much more easy-going.  Thank goodness!

My eldest daughter is enrolled in a talent course at Mode Elle and I'm hoping she'll be successful in gaining some self-confidence and maybe some modelling or acting jobs once she completes it.  If she does continue on with this my blog 2 Talented Daughters will follow her career, and my struggles to keep up with it all!

I am also authoring a blog more about me, less about the girls.  Modern Mom's Life is a collection of musing and observations about my life as a mom, all the pros and cons, and the emotional rollercoaster it can be at times!

If there is anything specific about my you would like to know, please comment and ask!  I want to better my blogs, but the only way to do that is to know what people want to know!
